At Arboretum Dental, we're committed to providing eco-friendly, sustainable dental care. We've implemented a range of green initiatives throughout our practice to reduce our environmental impact.
sustainability from the start
Dr. Christianson breathed new life into a 20-year-old dental office by repurposing as much as possible while modernizing essential features. During renovations, each piece was meticulously dismantled to sort metals from plastics, ensuring all materials were recycled properly and kept out of landfills.
ECO-CONSCIOUS Operations
Dr. Christianson rigorously assessed every system and purchase to consider their long-term impact on the environment, with the future of his four sons in mind. We've transitioned to paperless forms and are committed to replacing all consumables inherited from the previous practice with the most eco-friendly alternatives available.
Reduce, Reuse, Recycle Program
We take recycling seriously in our office, ensuring that everything is sorted and sent to the appropriate waste stream. While we await approval to become a Terracycle office drop-off point for consumer oral care product packaging, we are currently offering a recycling service for our patients. We accept used or empty toothpaste tubes and caps, toothbrushes, toothpaste cartons, toothbrush outer packaging, and floss containers, as listed on the Terracycle website.
